Meet Calvin! Calvin was found as a tiny kitten starving in a gated community where no one was feeding him, due to the nonsense rules of the HOA. We have had Calvin for 5 years and he is very loving and affectionate, but not so much with strangers. Calvin is suffering with kidney problems. His current vet bill is $2500 and still counting and he isn't out of the woods yet. He could use your support!
Calvin is one of the many cats at Pets Without Partners Sanctuary.
Meet Lizzy! Lizzy was at animal Care and Control two years ago, about to be euthanized. She was suffering from skin issues, had hardly any hair on her body, and could not put any weight on her front paw, which was three times the normal size. This was due to the severity of her condition and the lack of care she had been receiving her entire life. She was in so much pain, and even through all Lizzy has endured, she is still loving and trusting, we couldn't leave her there another minute. It took about six months of back and forth to the vets office, lots of patience, lots of love and affection, and thousands of dollars, but Lizzy is finally able to feel good and loved for the first time in her life. We named Lizzy after the tech that took special care of her, Elizabeth Harfmann. That was the beginning of Lizzy's new life.
she is on medication for the rest of her life which costs $100 per month.
she could use your help!
Meet Scamp! Scamp was a rescue six years ago from Tri-County animal rescue in Boca, after being there for almost four months! Scamp was totally depressed and would not even look up to see who had approached his kennel. Tri-County had found him wandering the streets, it is thought that he had run away from a very abusive situation. He was afraid of people, especially men, and he would cower when you made a move too quickly. Scamp is so loving and affectionate with all other dogs and cats. Support scamp!
Meet Vito! Vito was rescued from Animal Care and Control two years ago, where he was abandoned by his previous person at the age of 10. He was very depressed, anxious, and sick. We brought Scamp (one of our other rescue dogs) to meet Vito to make sure there would be no issues between them before hand. They became best friends! Vito has a lot of medical problems, and suffers from separation anxiety and we joke that his name should have been Velcro. Vito is on medication and his monthly bills run up to about $75. He could use your support!
